Consequently, the ability to consciously choose and invest more in body care products is a privilege. Moreover, even the awareness and mental space to consider the potential harm of conventional beauty ingredients is, for many, a luxury not afforded.
My journey within the clean beauty space has been marked by internal debate. I’ve grappled with the question of whether to fully endorse an industry that, quite simply, isn’t universally accessible. This dilemma remains unresolved for me. However, one clear starting point emerged: championing and sharing exceptional Black-owned clean beauty brands. I’m genuinely embarrassed to admit that before compiling this list, I was familiar with only a handful of these innovative companies.
